Book Fairs

Semi Annual Fundraiser

The WGA PTO works with the school to host two (2) book fairs each year (Fall and Spring). These week-long events coincide with Parent-Teacher conferences to give families a chance to shop while on campus together. Each class also has a scheduled time to visit the fair during the week. All monies raised go directly to support the WGA Library.
 
These events are organized by our Book Fair Committee and made possible by our wonderful community of WGA families and parent volunteers. 

This year our Fall fair will be with Scholastic (links and FAQs below) and the Spring fair will be with Literati.

Who is the Fall Book Fair vendor?

Scholastic.


When is the Fall Book Fair?

Monday, August 19th - 23rd at Weinberg Gifted Academy campus. Students will have time to visit the fair with their class. Families can also visit during Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday (21st) and Thursday (22nd) 12:30-6:00pm.


What books are available?

The book selection spans every genre and reading level and includes titles at affordable prices. As for the non-book selection, you can expect to see the usual Scholastic fan fair including reading and writing supplies, journals, and posters.

What are the acceptable forms of payment?

We accept cash (in-person fair only), credit or debit card, check, or Scholastic eWallet payments.


What is a Scholastic eWallet?

The Scholastic eWallet is an easy payment method that won’t get lost in a backpack. Create or add money to your students' eWallet online for use at both our in-person and online fairs. You can also add funds to an eWallet for a teacher or staff member to use to purchase books for their classroom libraries.


Can we purchase books online?

Yes. Shop for exciting new books online and create student wish lists to share with friends and family. The online fair will be open from August 16th through August 23rd. Books purchased through the online fair will be delivered to the school after the fair closes, and then distributed to students.
