Check-a-thon is just 4 weeks away! If you’re not busy constructing Super Mario-themed builds or kingdoms, perhaps the following event-specific volunteer opportunities are for you.
Pre-Event Logistics
We only have one day (Sunday, October 22) to transform WGA campus into a world filled with castles and clouds, pipes and palaces… you get the idea. By then, all family builds will have been delivered to campus and our kingdoms will be ready to be assembled in their designated courtyards. We will need a handful of volunteers to bring our Super Mario World to life.
** WE NEED YOUR CARDBOARD BOXES ** Bring any/all cardboard boxes to school by Friday, September 29. Please leave them inside the front gates by the corner (and let the front desk know you dropped them off). Thank you!Event-Week Logistics
Once Check-a-thon launches, we will need help with the kick-off assembly, support with hospitality events, and (the biggest task of all) end-of-day money-counting! Help us keep the event running smoothly from day-to-day!
Post-Event Logistics
No one wants to be left cleaning up after the party, but someone’s gotta do it, right?
We will need help (Sunday, November 7) to clean-up all campus decor and break down all the set pieces.
In addition to clean-up, we also need help with prepping and wrapping raffle prizes. Plus, delivering recess treats and pizza parties to top individuals and classroom earners.
