With two more days left of Check-a-thon, here’s what you need to know to finish strong!
Final Donations
As we finish counting our coins, here are THREE (3) reminders about donations:.
Last day to send cash/check donations is Friday 11/3, but online donations will be open through the weekend. Donate online through our Check-a-thon site. We will be counting all donations received through Monday (so if you do have any last-minute cash and check donations, send them in Monday morning to ensure they count towards the student raffle!)
Request corporate matches be made for Chandler School Boosters (not WGA). Once you choose CSB you can then designate WGA as the recipient. Send screenshots of corporate match receipts to wga.pto@gmail.com with CHILD and TEACHER names to ensure the donation is tracked properly for raffle and reward purposes.
All donation receipts are sent home in the student's backpack. We send receipts home daily. If you have not received a receipt for your donation, email wga.pto@gmail.com and we’ll get you another copy.
Dismantling the Kingdoms
Transforming the WGA campus into Super Mario Kingdoms was fun, but all good things have to come to an end.
If you want to keep your family builds or decorations, please pick them up by Monday 11/6, at the earliest. Builds will be at the front entry for pick-up. Any remaining decorations will be tossed by Thursday 11/9!
VOLUNTEER: If you have a few moments to spare on Monday 11/6 between 8:30am-10am, help us clean the campus and move all builds to the front entry area.Kingdom-wide Celebrations!
Next week the celebrations will commence and unfold over the next month! First, raffle drawings and prize give-aways. Then classroom and grade level parties and winnings! Finally we'll celebrate our successes with a wrap party for our WGA friends and families!
SPECIAL EVENT: Mark your calendars for a fun, low-key celebration on Tuesday, November 14 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at Portillo’s in Gilbert (2650 S. Market St, Gilbert, AZ 85295). Details coming soon.
