Check-a-thon: Level Completed (plus, a special video message from WGA's own Mario and Luigi)

Check-a-thon is over. Now it's time to unplug! Watch the special ‘thank you’ video from Mrs. Nusbaum and Mr. Tuttle.

We couldn’t do it with our WGA Community.

We’ve expressed it via email, on social, in-person, on paper, and in Parent Square — we cannot thank you enough for your donations in support of WGA. We reached 145% of our total goal and 85% school-wide participation!

This video expresses it all… watch for Mario & Luigi’s special message (at 01:38 min mark)!

If you haven't submitted your corporate match donations or emailed a copy of those receipts to wgapto@gmail.com, please forward them as soon as possible so we can track or follow-up, accordingly.

NOTE: By the way, were you able to figure who played the role of Bowser?? (Post your answers in the comments.)

Check-a-thon page will remain online through December.

The “Mario-themed” Check-a-thon web page will remain online until the end of December - be sure to check out the highlights and photo gallery.

If you have any questions about monies raised, tax information, or ways to get involved in CAT next year, feel free to contact wgapto@gmail.com.

REMINDER: Pick up family builds by Thursday 11/9. Anything left will be discarded.

And that’s a wrap!

Now the real work begins.

Be sure to create your WGA PTO member account so you can follow the updates on the PTO-funded Projects page. In the coming weeks and months, we’ll post the purchases and updated budgets as the monies from check-a-thon are allocated to the WGA wishlist items and resources at our school!

REMINDER: Join us at Portillo’s in Gilbert (2650 S. Market St, Gilbert, AZ 85295) on Tuesday 11/14 from 4:30pm-6:30pm. A casual event, relaxed meet-and-greet and a chance for us to say ‘THANK YOU’ to our WGA families in person!
