The time is coming to show our WGA teachers and staff all the ways we truly appreciate them! WGA Teacher-Staff Appreciation Week will be May 6-10. Read below to learn all the ways you can help our Hospitality Team make it extra special!
Every year our Hospitality Team establishes a fun theme to help our WGA families show their appreciation. This year the theme is "Best in Our Book" and the goal is to encourage families to 'share your stories'.
Below are three (3) ways families can help make this week super special:
1. Create BIG Books!
Our teachers and staff are our kids' biggest resources. So we're transforming the campus into a place filled with our biggest 'resources', too! We're asking families to build their own 3D books (see specs below). The cover can include a message to the teachers-staff. It can be a depiction of your favorite memory from the year. Why not an imagined WGA adventure? Be creative!
Specs:
3D: The book can be closed or open. The pages flat or separate. Include a pop-up or keep it simple. As long as it can stand on its own, you can interpret the book design any way you wan!
Materials: Cardboard, foam or wood is probably best for the foundation (especially for those bigger, life-size books), but you can use anything you want to decorate the cover and/or inside pages. We ask that you use 50% of recycled materials.
Size: Minimum should be cereal box-size (although 3ft and up is ideal) to a maximum size of... well, there is no maximum!!
Due: Builds are due to the front desk between Wednesday May 1 and Friday May 3 (latest).

2. Sign the eCard!
We have created a digital eCard for all families and kiddos to sign. This digital greeting is paired with a QR code which will accompany the gifts provided by the Hospitality Team during the week! Teachers and Staff will be able to access all the greetings you provide throughout the week!
Go to wgapto.org/community to sign the card before May 6.

3. Volunteer to Help!
The Hospitality Team will need help putting all final touches in order to ensure the event runs smoothly. From decorating the campus the day before to last minute needs, parent help is always appreciated!
