Committee Chair Duties
These are the primary responsibilities of the Volunteers Coordinator committee chairperson.
Liaisons between PTO, Teachers/Staff and the WGA Community for various volunteer requests, including but not limited to PTO and/or WGA-hosted events, as well as, teacher/staff run projects
Creates and maintains volunteer sign-up requests using volunteer management system (i.e. Google Forms, signup.com, etc.)
Coordinates with Room Parent volunteers with additional classroom-level support
Committee Chairs are appointed by the Executive Board. The duties are identified collaboratively with the chairperson.

Hello, WGA family!
I'm really excited about a new school year, and to have the opportunity to be part of our amazing PTO. This will be my third year as Room Parent/Volunteer Coordinator. I love how this position allows me to work directly with teachers and parents, and helps strengthen the relationship between them.

About Me
I'm a physician turned stay-at-home mom. After living in 6 different states, my husband Daniel and I decided to make Arizona our forever home three years ago. We have three amazing WildCATS, a fourth grader, a second grader and a little Wombat in Kindergarten. 24-25 marks our third year as part of WGA. We love our school, and all the wonderful people we have met here.
